Phase 2 of Reopening

As we come together as a community during these unprecedented times, PORA remains poised to support Sun City West. We are pleased to announce the second phase of our reopening plan.

Our priority continues to be protecting the health of our residents while evaluating needs and priorities. We are working to implement services and resources and provide the most accurate and best communication available.

As an organization we look to the Board of Directors to help best decide the ever-changing path to opening.

Below are the guidelines for PORA’s Phase 2 of Reopening.

This overview will evolve as time progresses. Each phase of PORA’s reopening will consider the most stringent of safety protocol.

As of Tuesday, May 26th:

1) The Membership Office will open to walk-in traffic Monday through Friday, 9am-2:30pm. You may visit the Office for membership sign-up and renewal or for vendor information.

-We ask that you call or email with simple, general questions to limit people in the building. Our office has been modified to reflect social distancing. No congregating or social seating will be allowed.

-We will limit the number of people in the office to 4 members at a time. You will be asked to wait outside if you arrive and the limit has been met. Outside seating will be provided. Masks are highly recommended and will be provided if needed. There will be no public bathrooms available.

2) Notary Services are by appointment only. Please call 623-584-4288. You must currently be or become a PORA member to use this complimentary service.

3) The Visitors Center will remain closed. If you need tourism or community information please call 623 584 4288 to arrange curbside pickup of brochures or maps.

4) If you are a PORA vendor or want to enroll as a vendor, please contact Tracy McGuire at 623-584-4288 X 414 to make an appointment.

5) No events, committee meetings or rentals are being scheduled.

-BINGO will not be scheduled until further notice.
