Due to the pandemic emergency, the education program is paused until Spring 2021.

The PORA  Education Program is dynamic learning environment that provides a variety of classes and tours for ongoing learning.  Class categories are listed below and also on the  registration page.  The PORA Education program includes over 100 instructors who possess unique knowledge and offer niche topic classes.  The program also offers intermittent free classes that offer study in issues with social impact.  The curriculum spans social and cultural landmarks and meets the standards for PORA’s original inception and involvement with political and social issues in the community.  Through this, the education program benefits the community as a whole.

Tours are now offered as part of the Education palette.  Tours are day-journeys that are tethered by an educational connection and a connection to Arizona and Phoenix Valley history.  Recent tours include Luke Air Force Base, PING Headquarters/Wrigley Mansion, and the Wickenburg Dude Ranch.  The department will continue to add to a robust set of tour offerings.

PORA members receive discount pricing for classes.  All classrooms are WI-FI accessible and maintain state of the art presentation systems.
