Deals on Wheels - Saturday, March 13, 9am-noon.

PORA and the CC&R Department is providing an outstanding opportunity for Sun City West residents to sell any car, truck, golf cart, RV, trailer, powered wheel chair, etc, in the R.H. Johnson Parking lot.  Buyers--make a convenient one-stop shop for a variety of used "deals on wheels."

Valley Vista High School will provide a consession stand of drinks and prepackaged snacks, opening at 8am.

A program will be printed for visitors which will have a description of item for sale and phone number of seller.

ALL participants must reserve a space through PORA with a valid Rec Card.  Set-up time is strictly between 7:45-8:45am---NO early set-ups, please.  Reserve your space at PORA, M-F, 9am-3pm, with cash, check, or charge, and fill out a release form.  If you have more questions, please call 623-584-4288 x 417.

COST:  $20 Small space or $30 Large RV space.  RV's and cars will be in two different sections.  You may choose your space from a map at PORA when you make a reservation.

MISC:  No tables or chairs will be provided--bring your own.  You might want to have on hand sunscreen, pen and paper.

All spaces must be cleaned and vehicles removed at end of event.  If your vehicle leaks oil or other fluids, bring a drip pan and/or kitty litter and paper towels for clean-up.  Trash barrels will be available but not for hazardous materials.

Programs will be printed and made available to buyers listing your vehicle and contact information.

Recreation Center bathrooms will be open.

SAFETY FIRST - The rule for participating:

    1.  All vehicles must be in place by 8:45am and remain until the event is over.

    2.  Vehicles cannot be moved during the event.

    3.  Test drive must be done when the event is over at noon.

    4.  Emergency brake must be applied through the entire event.

    5.  The engine may not be started until the event is over at noon.

    6.  Keys are not allowed in the ignition for any reason during the event.

    7.  All vehicles removed after the event.

    8.  All negotiation will be between seller and buyer, PORA is not responsible.

    9.  Sellers are responsible for reporting sales tax.
