FREE PUBLICITY - NOTICE TO CLUB AND ASSOCIATION OFFICIERS

The PORA Newsletter is sent to over 6000 email addresses each Friday, 99% of which are in Sun City West.  We will consider the inclusion of any SMALL news item or announcement that PORA deems to be of the general interest and availability of Sun City West residents.  These events must be secular in nature.  No religious events will be published.  To be posted, an event may be held in a house of worship but cannot be religious in nature.

Events must be received by 9:00 am Thursday morning to be published in that weeks newsletter!

The content must refer to a single event and may be included one or more times in the Newsletter.   An example of what we would publish might be an open house or a special speaker.  An example of what we will NOT publish would be the announcement of a recurring monthly meeting UNLESS this meeting has a very special guest AND is open to the public.  News items should be 2-5 sentences in length, include all time/date/location information and should be included in the content of an email.  If it's not complete it won't be published.  The preferred method for submitting a news item would be either a text file or simply include the notice in the body of an email.  Word documents will be accepted if they are not formatted too extensively.  NO "drop offs" at PORA office.  New items need to be received by the Thursday before the expected Friday publication. NOTE: Publication will be at the discretion of PORA.  Send items or questions to editor@porascw.org .  (Also, an additional benefit is that the local news reporters read the Newsletter so this gives them a "heads up!")

ONLY THOSE EVENTS THAT ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WILL BE PUBLISHED!
